I’ve lived my whole life in a small ex-mining valley in South Wales, surrounded by a strong sense of community and history.

My love for reading began as a child with The Famous Five and grew through my teenage years with Sweet Valley High. I’ve always been fascinated by the way books can take you anywhere—real or imagined.

Creativity has been part of me for as long as I can remember, and I’d always dreamed of running my own small business. Combining my love of reading with my creative side, I began making bookish merchandise—pieces that reflect the joy, comfort, and adventure found in a good book.

Chapter & Yarn began with my own love of switching things up. Just as I choose different books depending on my mood, the season, or the kind of story I’m craving, I’ve always enjoyed changing the little things around me to match how I’m feeling. That might be swapping out a bookmark, switching a Kindle sleeve, or adding a small accessory that feels just right for the moment.

I’ve also always loved to crochet—it’s my way to unwind and create something truly personal. So it felt natural to include handmade crochet Kindle sleeves in my range, giving readers something both beautiful and functional to protect their devices.

I wanted to create bookish merchandise that other readers could enjoy in the same way—pieces that are easy to change, mix, and match so your reading accessories can reflect your mood, the time of year, or even the world inside your current read.

All Chapter & Yarn orders are sent via Royal Mail Second Class delivery.

• Processing time: Orders are usually packed and posted within 3-5 working days.
• Delivery time: Royal Mail Second Class typically takes 2–4 working days within the UK.
• Packaging: Items are carefully wrapped to keep them safe on their journey to you, and wherever possible, I use eco-friendly packaging.
